  • Future Fins and the Baked Potato

I bought the board with a set of controllers and was wondering how a set of 375's might go in the back to loosen it up? Any other ideas would be welcome.

    Let me know,

    Brent

It was the front controllers that made my groveler feel stiff and tracky. Try AMT Robbers with controller rears. Heaps of drive and way looser.

Ok, I will mess around with some of the front fins as today riding the 375's was just ok. I had to be right on the tail to make em work. The controllers were more drivey and it did not matter where I stood.

Yeah I find the AMT's more upright template pivot a lot tighter but they still maintain a lot of fin area (they are a BIG fin!). Lots of people have had great success with these big twin fin templates coupled with controller rears in wide tailed grovelers, it just seems to work.

Rastovich quad setup is super fun.

i like the SF4 quad set, so both leading and trailing fins... fun and free. like my mind.

I've heard the seaworthy controllers are really good.

Here are the fins I have to choose from:

                      Elevon quad
                      Rusty 5 fin
                      458 (2)
                      375 (2)
                      Stretch (4)
                      Am2 (3)
                      Controllers

Chris are you saying to try the stretch fins with the BP? Also, should I leave the rears with the controllers? Just trying to get all dialed here.
