Correction - at 83kg a 6'6" Hellfire would be too big. 6'2" to 6'4" max would be my suggestion. That board should amply cover from 2 foot to 6 foot. Below 2 foot you may need another board.

50young, thanks for the reply, I'm up to 98kgs at the moment, 6'2-6'4 I think would be right, I see stc67 has 6'6 for sale, but it looks like so much foam

Over Chrissy I wass up to 95.5kgs and rode and paDDLED my PN no trouble so I would think you are right on the mark with 6'2"-6'4" even the 6'4' is alot of foam, even at 115kg I was riding 47 litres and I only get to surf on the weekends so by no means paddle fit

My 6'4" in fst with fcs plugs inc MR tx glas flex twin plus trailer fins is at Beachbeat, Alex.
Wife just left for OS for a month.
I put the board in there to raise some funds for her trip.
Now she's OS I doubt I'll be able to leave it in there for more than a few more days.
Pretty sure they also have a used 6'2" in white rapidfire (can't recall fin plugs) with no fins for more than my FST with fins.

Michael makes great boards, I have a 7.2 kingfish, 6.6 dart fish, 6.11 and 6.8 islander. All 3 " thick 23, 22, 21, 21". All keepers, my surfing has progressed with all these boards, looking to take another step. I still surf all the MC's and love em. Looking for a board to go faster and looser.
Naughty me but here's some MC board porn for ya....
7' X 21" X 3" SevenT and 9'3" Mal gun is baby blue on far right.

You mean the lil' 4'2" on the far left?
                    Think bing speed square.
Deep double concaves like a sweet potato.
Ride it prone (with flippers/swim fins) or standing up.
                    Tube time.
3rd from left is for crowds.
