Just got a 5,6 fst potato, now trying to sort out which pads work the best with the potato's round tail and don't look too bad either. Does anyone have a pad they really love for the spud? Post pics!

Good question.
I'm currently debating between the no pad option, or just putting a white tail kick on so I know my foot is in the spot.
The CI Dane pad seems to work pretty well too.

The guy I bought it from put a longboard tailpad on it. I also added a tail bumper as a smaller SP I had had one and I thought it was a good idea.

Sean Mattison wide-tail pad. The website says they are sold out, but a new shipment came in last week. Call him. These are the BEST pads for the SP and BP.

i say go with a tail pad. lots of ways, i have always just used a standard 2 or 3 piece and spaced it out.
We use longboard pads and cut them to fit the tails of our demoes...

Yeah, my main reason for getting one in just to stop me jamming my knee in the deck to duck dive the thing, also to know my foot is in the spot. I've got a pad here but I was thinking of saving it for the Minnie Driver.
I'll probably stick something on there. Wish I had the spud now... web cam looks like thigh to waist high peelers with an offshore wind, no one in. I'd be loving that!
