    For sure they are a different breed... I saw a clip of kelly talking about the board stu kennedy was riding (a vg or something) and he was saying he genuinely thought that this is the way things are going, hes always on a quad now (sometimes with nub) and riding shorter boards. I assume triyng to get as fast as possible on as short and maneuverable a board....

      hey megsy.. being a balanced board you can put your foot anywhere and adjust weighting according to the situation.. i enjoyed burying the full rail through turns with my back foot up on the wax...maybe guys riding it too big need to get back to gain control though?..

        i find i get the best out of it turn wise with my foot right back. it creeps forward for taking off and racing but to square up off the bottom i feel like i need to have that foot right back or i project too far out onto the face and miss the pocket, especially backside.
        on a big open face you could draw longer lines further forward though.
