  • Experiment of moving my traction pad for better control

After riding my Nano for the last week strait I was taking some pic of my boards and I noticed something that I had overlooked on my VG. My VG trac pad was really far up and I was thinking that this might something I could fix and help me ride the board a bit better. I did buy the board used with the trac top on but honestly this was my first Tomo and I bet I still would have put in on wrong. Now knowing that having your rear foot over the rear fin is key to getting the VG to turn tight and to drive off of I decided I needed to make a change asap. Last night I ripped off the old pad and stuck a new pad on with a minor mod to the tail block because of the leash plug location. I surf in a regular foot stance, as you can see I have much more room to get over the fin and get my heel right on the left side of the tail. I plan on ridding this board this week to see if I like the changes.
