  • Guys around 180lbs, what volume are you riding?

I like somewhere around 35. Volume calc says around 40 because I'm old. Just curious what people are riding compared to weight and what disadvantage would adding some volume be?

I iggy i have exactly the same numbers, and surf 29.5l hashtag, based on your vanguard, do you think a 5'2" SweetPotato with 32L is to much, or should i go for the 5'0" 28.5L?

200lbs and 48yoa. I'm riding between 35.5 and 41.5 litres, with the best range being 37.3 to 38.5 for the biggest range of conditions. The 35.5 hardly sees the water , and the 41.5 does only on really really small days.

185lb 47 years old. 32.5 for performance 34 for grovel. I like foiled rails it allows for more performance with the extra volume.

187lb 30 years old. Bought a 54 SP today, so hopefully the 35L from the SP for grovel. Although I currently have a 56 Gipos with 26.7L and had a JS with 29L and I still caught small waves pretty easily. Guess around 32 would be ideal for a performance board
