filthy ugly windy cold here...supposed to be in boardies but need a steamer...!! far out..lay day...in 12 days santa is supposed to arrive in boardshorts in the surf rescue boat...good thing he's used to the cold..!!Comment

i'm a total wimp..it plummeted to 19c!!..but who's silly?? i live in a tropical paradise..!! never seen snow..!! never worn booties...ha ha....suffer...!!!.. but i think my nips will be showing in my one-piece this year..!!Last edited by core personal training; 12-13-2011, 12:56 AM.Comment

Ok I'm jealous, apart from the snow thing. But snow at home sucks, a snowboarding holiday on the other hand, might actually beat a surf holiday.
Ps, you need to experience the pure joy or 5/4mm full suit, hood, gloves and boots and then getting changed after.Comment

i have some idea of what you speak...i've surfed thurso...many moons ago...wetsuits weren't very advanced back then...even a 3/2 had no flex and i'm sure they were MORE than three mm thick!!...no snow on the rocks then luckily...but the "locals" (there was one or two) were scaring me by saying i had to pull in because sheet ice in the lip would decapitate me...didn't believe them, but i pulled in just the same..!!
we have gone waaaay off topic as usual...chris better start a forum section for "talkin' story"Comment
