  • I have a 5'11 Vanguard and want a 6'2 Vader, bummer im in Australia.
The VG at 39.6lts is great when i dont have to paddle far, but the 45lt Vader would be perfect for bigger lineups.

Nice looking waves Megsy, i rode my V4 today in overhead clean lefts, probably only my 4th surf on it, and i loved it. I put in some larger fins, size 7's after a recommendation by...might have been Montygoesbananas?...

Great news Curly, those waves that Tomo was surfing in the Evo vid were a fair bit overhead, but i am not a big fan of sub 6ft boards in sizey waves, there comes a point where the rail line is too short,...

Av8, thanks for the honest comments about the Dom and the Cornice, the Cornice may be a good board, but im with you on how it looks, and i sold my Dom, rode my mates 6'4 Dom after riding the Vanguard,...

Yes, Evo on the website, get the cornice off the main page! I was told they were making batches of Evos for distribution to Australia monthly. There was no 6ft Evo in the May release but there is in the...

    replied to FINS for V4
I have a set of UL 7's to try out in the V4 so it will be an interesting comparison, the board goes best in head high plus waves so at that size the board should still turn well. Just need the waves to...

    Kelly on Tomo in Brazil

Did anyone else notice KS coming out of the water in Brazil after a free surf with a conventional looking round square tail Tomo under his arm? It was during the dawn patrol segment. I hope he jumps on...

It looks like Tomo has designed the Evo to be ridden as more of a small wave fun board, but when you see him riding a 5ft something in overhead waves, some way over on the takeoff, it clouds the thinking...

The board will die quickly, i have found, unless being in the power source of the wave. If you have built up speed you will have plenty left over for a cutback. It has a lot of nose rocker, one day i...

Solid waves in the photos, the V4 may not be ridden often unless you get consistent waves like that, but i know you will feel completely confident in the capabilities of the board when you do ride it...

nice video, great waves, the board looked fast and turned beautifully, gave me flashbacks of good moments with my V4, its been a while since i have had waves good enough to ride it.
