  • as a comparison I did a demo on a 5'8" @ 90kg - it was easily enough board for reasonable / good waves. 5'6" sounds like enough for you

    Yeah the Spitfire is actually the Dom with a different tail so same wave catching ability with a slightly higher performance ride.

    The Dominator or Spitfire are a great start Jim - but 6'2" will be way over sized and you'll find it working against you (unless you want an ultra cruisey ride) The biggest I would go is 6'0"...

    DO IT!!!
    They will complement each other beautifully - ELF for 2-4ft (even bigger if it is fat and slow) and the # for everything else.
    The cross over is very minimal.

    That's correct on both counts. Sometimes its a pain to make sure the foot is back but then the benefits far out weigh the small adjustment!!
