Hey Magnet, the hellfire is a great choice. It's fast but can handle pocket surfing well. Great option for an intermediate surfer pushing advanced.
The alternator is also there, but I think if you are a practiced longboarder stepping down, the Hellfire is the one.

Do I need the Razor
I know I want it but can it be justified
i'll be adding it shortly..probably dont NEED it..but i want an extension of the HF feel.....
with a 510 HF and a traditional shorty, we would fill them out with a spud or variant and one or two guns...but the razor gives you another way to ride most waves...hard to resist..
the Michel is more of a shortboard feel than the Hellfire. More sensitive.
did you mix up hf and hr again chris??.. :P

Hey Chris, I am about to pull the trigger on a CBD Michel Bourez. But wanted to check if the rocker is the same as the Taj was or more like the Flexfire. The Taj rocker was a bit too much for my liking.
taj mate...but was it the rocker you didnt gel with, or the overall twitchiness..??..the MB is thicker foiled and fuller in outline...not sure what tweaks you have made too...
I'm pretty sure it was the rocker on the Taj. It just felt a bit too sensitive. I'm used to drawing out a carve, it just felt like the board was doing all the work if you know what I mean. I guess I'm used to flatter rockered boardsQuote:
