So why did you chop the tail on the SF? Since doing this, do you find it easier or harder to: bottom turn, release off the top, plane on flat sections easier, catch less rails on landing airs?

I find the cut off tail accelerates more quickly on take offs and releases and slides very easily off the top. I found with the K2.1 set it was easy to slide round into a reverse off the top, too easy in fact so I started running K3s to get a bit more grip. Good fun though.
I wouldn't say it affected the planing of the board or anything like that, still feels good coming off the bottom. I need to take it out again soon, I always take my Sub out now when it's smaller.
