Core, I don't think too many!! Secret handshake almost LOL . Indelibly marked on me since 5th class school play in large auditorium end of year shebang for parents. I got the impression that attack was up on the central coast somewhere, so not as far north as Stockton. I know the blonde headed guy in the video that was on the long handled pliers most of the time - I'll try to remember to ask him next time I see him.

down here in the nasho it's a very regular thing with all the warm water, bait fish and salmon everywhere, I'm thinking of getting a blue camo wettie and the eye might be an idea too!
wanted the lead role but it was given to the teachers pet...scarred me for life..!!..i was sure i was destined for super-stardom..!!
the eye is my patented trademark..bugger off...!! :P ....... yeah the other day the shark chased the salmon/taylor (not sure which) under us before leaving them and hanging around 2 of us....today no fish, just the shark sticking its snout up in front of me to suss me out...didn't surface cruise..no fins etc today...just slowly nuzzled the surface and sank back out of sight.... daaaa... da.............daaaa... da.......... da. da. da. da da. da.....were gunna need a bigger boat..!!
Well, here is my hellfire review after being able to surf it in some real surf tonight. The surf was 4-6 foot California size and the board I was riding was a 6'2" FST Hellfire with Future fins. I used the AM2's up front and the AM1's in the back. I lost a fin on the left side, not sure how that happened as I really do not like Futures as much as I like FCS, oh well. The board paddled fin, although I have not surfed in 4 weeks so I was a bit tired out there in some big surf. The drops were amazingly easy and the board took off once I hit the bottom. Duck dives were really easy, although I got ice cream headache because the water and air were pretty cold. The board is an amazing board and really will be fun to surf in some warmer water and when I have my paddle arms. One wave I turned around quickly and just took off on the wave it did not delay and I was up and riding before I knew it. Great board, fun times to be had and I was pretty darn stoked with this addition to my quiver. Now I just need to get a new back fin.

good stuff hwork....keep us posted...try simon sa3's...they hold a turn almost as long as the am2s but soooo much livelier and free-er.....at least in the 5'10...
Finally got my Hellfire which id be dreaming about for sometime now and went for the 5 10 in fst over the 5 8.Im 5 10 and 75 kg and wear a 4/3 wetty most of the time here in tassie and only get to surf on weekends mostly.Ive only surfed the board once as a quad in 2ft glassy conditions and am pumped on how well it went .It paddles well and gets into waves as easily as my 5 6 fishcuit which is 35 litres. The board just flys, the only problem i found was trying to go vertical, this could be due to my ability as well.I used k2.1 with gx trailer fins, next test will be as a thruster and see if i can get this baby going vertical.
hey steveo,
what about going vertical was tough? keep us posted. I do think thruster sets are WAY better for the kind of pivot needed to snap vertically so hopefully a little fin experimentation makes it better for you.
Cheers!
