Core Purse...You are a demanding young man... KK X DK
The diamond works a little like a round tail, shortening the rail line whilst removing the "corner" of the squash that is great for resistance off the top which equates to earlier release that...
They don't call me Neville the Devil for nuthin'
Guys...I am certainly planning on updating the Hellrazor in the near future. The feedback i have had from Filipe and a bunch of pros who are riding the Hellrazor confirms my position which is that I...
That is just too dam close to the bone!
Hey drtrdt...The Hellrazor is the perfect extension of the Dom/Spitfire. Whilst it may not handle solid 6ft testy grinding pits as well as a Flexfire/MB etc it WILL be much more on edge and in the...
Hey mate,
First things
Oh c'mon...Pleeeaaaassseee!! Naked and wet? Kiddies come on this forum you know !!!
hey, You are pretty close to me in weight and age, and you have a damm...
Guys...Great read... One thing I gotta say is that "effective rail" that connects with the wave face/curve is what differentiates the performance characteristics of a Dominator and a Nugget. If you...
Hey Spawne
Good to hear you are on the road to recovery mate. The boys are right, the Addvance will be super stable. Of course it depends on your height, weight and level of ability before your back...
Is that Bears Faz... So much fun that wave. Scored Mummas really good duruing the Small Fries this year.
Just surfed EPIC 6ft Burleigh today. As good as it gets. I haven't seen the banks like...
No question on all that has been said in this thread...Hellrazor will be the board...That board will be great fo 4 to 6ft solid, yet still feel lively in junk. It err's on the side of performance...
Hey Magnet and Waldo...
The Hellrazor is more high performance than the Hellfire due to the fact that I morphed the Hellfire up in length keeping the volume similar. This means the board has all...
Looks nice PJ...Brrrrrrrr
I have been doing a few HP hellrazors, like the one for Felip which is 508 x 18 1/2 x 2 1/4
the 5'10 of this would extrapolate up to 18 7/8 x 2 5/16"...Too many variable mate. It would work in...
To visit the lovely Cotswalds, yes...To surf...Well call me when it looks like this! That's me lookin' in644
Sorry...I know that was cruel...At least you have the anticipation of whether Kate and...
My take is to ride thinner as Hellrazors are still quite wide for high performance boards. Sensitivity is what is required the more HP you go in a board. Ability makes up for less volume (or heavy...
Good to hear that the 18 1/2" seems too skinny for UK waves. All the more reason I am sure he will like the MB600 x 18 3/4" x 2 3/8"...Put money on it...Well...Not mine...do we have a budget for this...
Hey swell (magnet)
The Hellrazor is more high performance in the pocket type of a board. More than the Hellfire, less than the Flexfire/Pro models.I pull it out when I am unsure if my Hellfire...
Hey Lino...You can definiately go 2" shorter on the Hellrazor. I ride the 5'11 HZ and tried the 6'1" which was too long for me. FYI, my normal short board is a 6'2" Flexfire.
If he likes anything like 26.5 to 27.5L he will love the 6'0" If yours is not too much at 28L then it is a no brainer. The pod width is slightly wider because the 6'0" MB is wider all round at 18...
Yep!! Surley did add weight to Taj's boards during Bells the year he won in 2007. His boards were too light at 2.250g and were a bit skittery off the top. The team engineered an aluminum capsule...
Hey PJ
The 5'11 I have is one of Michels that he did not like as it was wider in the pod (measured 3"up) at 9". His normal 5'11" s are 8 1/2". I am using the "Pancho" template and the thing goes...
That is/was really REALLY cool Iggy.
Thanks for all the kind words on the Channels boys...I loved (?) shaping them because you really did think you were creating something that could hang on a wall. Sanders and glassers did not feel the...
