I am a similar size to you and would ride a 5'10 sub also but ride a very similar board but from a different shaper. I tend to find that I prefer to use larger fins in shorter wider boards...

I took a js revolution that is a little more thinned out then the sub all over indo earlier in the year. Got some really good waves in and around bali and then up in the ments and it worked a treat....
hey core yeh i have tried the 6'4 but its just a little bit to big, if it was 2 1/4 or 2 5/16 it would go really well but i just found it to thick which had it sitting too much on top of the wave...
5'4 SP amazing in knee high to chest high crap and works really well with my longboard
5'10 js revolution had a dumpster diver and find this better as its of a lower volume, perfect...
