TBH I find my HR gos really well in mushy crumbly flat stuff too, as long as theres a bit of size (shoulder +). I also find it cuts through the chop really well and still feels nice and precise,...
Im loving the new O & E pads. You buy the 3 pieces seperately so you can mix and match some crazy colours. Plus if it starts coming off somewhere you only have to replace 1/3 of it.1662
Sorry Gek but Im no expert so kind of hard to explain. The EA Blackstix feel great in my HZ and very whippy through turns and also heaps of speed down the line (but could just be the HZ too). I...
I have the 5'10 and I love it. I could ride the 5'8 but I prefer the extra volume as I generally only ride it in smaller waves (waist and down) which dont have much push. Cant say it feels too corkey...
Yep it definately seems to paddle better for some reason. It feels like that touch extra length and bit less width just help it go through the water a bit easier. Its also alot faster down the line...
I have a 6'5 and Im currently 85kg, 6'2 tall, pretty fit, but only 2 1/2 years surfing. I love the board but could definately go a 6'3 easily. It is so easy to paddle so dont be scared to go down a...
Ive been loving the EA Blackstix on my 6'5 Hellrazor in head high and above and they are probably similar enough boards.. Enough drive and they turn nice and tight and release easily enough. I also...
I Use futures AM2 Fronts with True Ames TP rears (395's). Heaps of drive and loose enough, but would like to try to R2 rears with it too as they are a bit smaller and would loosen it up even more. Im...
Yeh I am closer to 90 KG and the 5'10 is perfect for me. I would also class myself as Beginner - Intermediate
Decided to go with the EA's Blackstix as the Roberts are quite similar to my AM'2 cept for the V2 Foil. Cant wait to try em out.
Thanks Guys. Seriously looking at the Blackstix EA's now or maybe even the Roberts as they have the V2 foil too. Ive prolly lost a couple of KG's too and am more like 86 ish so Ill prolly be in the...
Awesome info !! Thanks Core.
Hey Core
How do you find the Blackstix fins go, compared to your Honeycomb JC's? Im close to ordering some R1 Blackstix, but a few people have told me they find the V2 foil a bit wierd feeling and...
Hi All
Just curious as to wether anyone is running the Blackstix Fins over the Techflex (in any template)?
From what I gather the Blackstix is a softer fin, with a tighter turn radius due to...
Finally got some half decent waves for 4 days on the local point break to give the PN a fair go and OMG...... I am loving this board....... with the Indo Controllers!!!! Even in soft crap, a couple...
I would go with the 5'10. Im 90kg and it paddles very easily. I think anymore volume would be a waste for you and youll end up wishing you had gone smaller.
Im roughly same as you and class myself beginner - Intermediate. I just went 5"10 Potatonator and it is perfect for the small stuff (Waist to Chest). Really easy to catch waves on, keeps going...
Anyone use these - http://www.futuresfins.com/fin-detail.php?id=207&largeimg=blackstix_rusty_full.jpg
Ive been looking at getting a thruster set for my Hellfire and probably will use them on a...
Id be keen to hear how it gos too. Im pretty similar stats and looking at a 6'5 as well.
First surf with the Board and had the contollers in. Clean beach break but it was quite small, around waist high and they seemed to go OK. Still loose enough to throw it around but plenty of drive. I...
Hiya
Im looking at getting a 6'5. 33.7L, which will be my first ever shortboard.
My 6'4 HF 36L is a great board and I can catch waves pretty easy, so I reckon I could drop the 3L without too...
Would be interested to hear how the Mayhems go Bumper, as Im considering a set if the controllers dont work out. They look sick.

Yayy my 5'10 just arrived. First impressions it feels really nice. Cant wait to give it a go, but as usual when I buy a new board the waves pack up for a week or 2 just to torment me...
Will be trying my 5'10 when it gets here next week, with Indo Controllers first, then may try the Soar DXL - DM quad set I have too just out of interest. Will let you know how it gos
