Chubby cheddar vs dominator in bigger waves
Which board would hold more control at the upper limit of its range? A 6'4" dominator or a 6'6" cc? Looking for a board that paddles well (hybrid) can use up to double overhead. Normally ride a 6'2" sub scorcher. -
Dominator vs mini driver
Has anyone paddled a 6'4" dominator and compared how easily it paddles against a 6'4" mini driver? -
Lost minnie driver 6'4" vs Lost Subscorcher 6'4"
Howdy,
Has anyone surfed both these boards? Do they have about the same ease of catching waves? I know how the sub paddles. Does the minnie driver paddle equally as well (or equally as easy?) cheers -
Adjust one parameter outside of the set ranges
I would like to order a custom dominator but would like to adjust one parameter a little further, the tail width, outside of the adjustments allowed in the online software. The dimensions I am after are; 6'6" X 20.75" X 2.75", nose width 13.3" which all fits in the software but I would like to make the tail 15.2" but the min I can adjust it to is 15.44". Can it be done? cheers. -
Artillary series
Hey,
Any info on dimensions etc. As a heavy intermediate, I would like a hybrid designed board for solid waves. Now before you say the helfire or what ever is good for that, what i mean is that i find the hybrid board with those wider noses, paddle that well, i find myself choosing to ride it when the waves are bigger because they get you in easier than high performance boards. Otherwise thinking of CBD a dominator 6'6" and making it narrower overall, thinner and narrowing up the tail. Problem is the CBD is a little limiting. -
Best design for wind affected choppy messy surf
Nev and friends,
Which design would suit me best? I am 40yrs old, 90kg intermediate.
Already have a 5'8" spud which is great in small clean gutless surf.
Also ride a 6'3" elfuego as my mainly used board. Looking for a board to ride every known and then when the conditions are really poor and want to increase my wave count and have fun with a board that paddles even eaiser than the ones above but does not get out of my control on choppy faces. Still want to try and throw a good turn if the opportunity arises but for the rest of the time, just get tons of waves.
I was thinking of either the 6'10" alternator or the 6'6" or 6'10" advance or a 6'8" potatonator?
What you guys rekon would work the best?
Cheers
