Yes, I have an Alt and a Sweet Potato - covers pretty well of 99.9% of all conditions.

I agree with FW Fan totally - I've recently replaced my 6'2" Dom with a 6'4" Alt and could not be happier.
The Alt is more responsive, turns better and even paddles better than the Dom did (at a little less volume). The big tail on the Dom always felt a bit disconnected to me.Leave a comment:

Hwork - I too have a 6'2" Dom that I'm considering downsizing a bit, as it sometimes feels a little big in larger waves (I'm about 175lbs).
The only thing that concerns me is the loss of paddling power - how do you find the paddling between the two sizes?Leave a comment:

Thanks for the comparison Superfreak, I'm guessing there are plenty of SP owners who wondering how the Baked Potato goes.
I'm actually really interested to see if anyone has a comparison between the Baked Potato and the Potatonaor? I kinda have been thinking as both of them as a Sweet Potato on riods, and would be interested to see how different from each other they are.Leave a comment:

Addvance botton shape?
Hi guys.
I'm trying to decided on a few different models as a small (micro) wave board - can anyone tell me what the botom shape/contours on an Addvance are? Or even better. got a photo?
Cheers

Cuttlefish, you may have answered this elsewhere, but I just noticed you mention you have previously had a 6'6" Addvance?
How would you compare your 6' Potato to the 6'6" Addvance?
In my mind they seem very similar - a) obviously they are very close in volume b) whilst the Potato has a shorter rail line, it also has much more volume in the larger tail. The Addvance seems to be the opposite, smaller tail to help turns, but volume everywhere else!
I am looking to build a simple 2 board quiver. I have a 6'2" Dominator for everything over waist high, but cant decide between a Sweet Potato or an Addvance for a small wave groveller (essentailly as a longboard replacement).
I'm thinking that the Addvance would be a better allrounder for really little stuff, and probably would be a better paddler than the POtato with similar performance potential?
I'd be interested to hear your feedback as someone that has owned both?Leave a comment:
