Hey there I have a set of AM2's Techflex if you want them. I have used them a few times and are in great shape. Send me a PM.

I have found that the Future fins AM-1's are sweet and just tried the YU's too. I am running them on the KP1 and the KQF. I tried the AM2 and find that they are little big and stiff and draggy. The Mulcoys are good and you get 5 fins for even more crazy options.

What are your favorites, preferences etc?

Has anyone ridden these boards in overhead surf? I am also looking at each of these with this in mind? I have a KP1 and so far it's a sweet board. I am leaning toward the 6.0 because I don't want a lot of volume but I am wondering about the width. My widest board right now is 18.5" and I think 19" might be a bit too much.

I weigh about 190 lbs with gear (wetsuit, harness,etc.). I am lucky as we get a lot of wind 5, 7,9m (nor-cal coast) from on-shore, side-shore and side-off conditions. Waves can range from junk to double overhead+.

    Thanks,

    TT

    hey guys,
Thanks for the info. My three other boards all have glassed in fins. So many fin options I d
didn't know where to begin. Much THANKS for your help.

Chris, your 100% right. 602 board was a custom when I weighted 150. I have put on about 30lbs of muscle in last 2 yrs. Free weights and protein really work. Can't wait to get my new firewire and put newfound strenth to work, thanks again.

Chris, after many hrs of research and debate I have fallen in love with the spitfire. My old 6'2" has a volume of 25. As I stated before I can still surf this board but only in Good waves. I think the 6'2" sf will give me plenty of extra float for average surf. Do you agree, if so what is a good fin set up for this board in 2'-5' surf. I'am 186lbs. Surfing style(cut backs, hitting the lip, roundhouses)not much on 360's, aerials or that type stuff. Thanks for your expert advice.

    Lost stealth or Dominator

    Brothers,
Iam 5'11", 186lbs, 43 yrs old. Out of surfing for 10 yrs. Started back last fall. Having trouble catching waves with my old 6'2" potatoechip thin board. When waves are powerful board still works good. But when weak or just average I'am getting in wave to late. I really like the stealth but some say the dominator is better for daily east coast surf. Looking at 6'4" st or 6'2
' dom. Any advice would be greatful.
Working...
