I tried the SA-4s as a quad and they worked well. Then I tried the AM-2s, also as a quad, and they work even better!

thinking about picking up controllers for my spit. Concerned that they are too large, I weigh 170lbs and surfing in the northeast. So generally surfing mushy waves and wearing a wetsuit year round. Any fin suggestions would be helpful, currently set up as a quad v2 438s
Browndog, the Controllers are great but if you are thinking of throwing buckets, I would recommend different front fins and possibly different rears. Turning with Controllers are more draw out. I actually ride a thruster set (EA techflex) with my spit and it holds, super fast, and snaps well. Below are some quad setups that people constantly speak of:
- Rusty R1s
- Stretch
- Solus front with Controller quad
- Scimitar quad

I use my Rastas on my Potatonator (when swapping out for Elevons) and in my Hellfire..great fins.
Rastas are on order. I'll let everyone know what I think after a few sessions
Brown, one think you may notice is that they are a thicker fin up front than most fins..but dont be fooled by thinking thicker fins create more drag...they dont. I am sure you will love them.
Brown, can't wait to hear how the Rastas work, I may want to get a set.
