Volume to me is just as much about paddling as it is performance, if it was just about performance I'd go slightly less volume than I do but as I'm not a grom anymore I have to take a compromise and also think about how the board will paddle.

Strangely enough going of the correct volume alone on most FW boards including the vanguard sees the thickness at 2 3/8 which is a good thing, because that's the only measurement I try to keep consistent if I can.

Not that I'm going to be able to get one of these for a long time, but it's nice to dream.
    Me= 5,8 75kg Boards= Flex fire FST 6,3 x 18,3/4 x 2,3/8 Hellfire FST 5,10 X 19,3/4 X 2,3/8 Baked potato(white rapid fire) 5,3 x 21,1/4 x 2 3/8

    Hey black,

You can actually do it at any shop. Just make sure they follow up with us. We are taking prebooks from dealer now so get your order placed and you'll have one of the first ones.

    Cheers.

    Hey Chris,

What are your thoughts on sizing one of these for yourself?

We share dims and ride the same boards, so looking for some kind of benchmark.

    Cheers

Chris is saying 506. I like the 504 dims but the thickness would need to be 2.38" so will probably go 506 too. That said I might hold out for a demo...

    Hey Chris

I wanna preorder a 5'10 but it doesn't seem like all the shops in so-cal offers the option of preorders. Which shops currently does the preorders?

    Cheers,

    Hey

By the way, do you guys think the 5'10 would be about right? My MB and Sub Scorcher have about 32,5L volume, but looking for something that would carry me a bit better during winter with the thicker wetsuits and all.

Also, I am 6'3 and reckon that going for a 5'8 would fill too weird.

    Cheers,

Ops, sorry for all the posts. Forgot to mention that I weigh about 90kg without a wettie.

    Hey Norberg,

regarding placing your order, why don't you just email me directly at the address below and we'll get your order sorted and entered so you get one out of the first delivery.

Also thinking about size, i would actually keep your volume right close to what you are used to. The board does paddle and plane well so i don't think there is much of an argument to ramp up your volume UNLESS you feel that your current boards are undersized. That would likely mean going 508...

    Cheers
