Swapped boards with a friend who's interested in a potatonator earlier this week.
He's a few kgs heavier than me and was on his 6'10" McCoy nugget (21" X 3" I believe) and he was doubtful my 6'2" would float him.
Sitting in the line up I wasn't sitting too much lower than him in the water.
He was thinking a 6'8" potatonator would be the ticket for him being used to the McCoy.
We swapped boards and he was amazed at A: how well the potatonator paddled and B: how well it floated him.
He was always taken aback at how loose it was.
Now he's thinking 6'4" will be fine as he had no trouble catching waves on my 6'2" but wants it for smaller waves and he'll ride his nugget when it's larger..
When you say MC do you mean Michael Cundith?
If so which model?
MC doesn't mind volume but has lovely rails on his boards.
Demo the 6'er.
