    Hey Roger, to me the SP/BP compare as follows (volume similarities);

    5'0" SP = 5'1" BP
    5'2" SP = 5'3" BP
    5'4" SP = 5'5" BP etc...

    I think the BP is a better board in terms of its nose/tail refinement and 5 fin box. Plus I like the bamboo deck, to me it feels more lively then my old SP.
    5.10 Futura - What else do I need?
    5.5 Baked Potato - Well ok, I need this.
    5.11 El Fuego - Oh ok, just one more.

    Finally got a chance to try the controller indo fins yesterday, waves similar to other surfs mentioned here, same place, same conditions.

    Thoughts on Indo controllers in BP: heaps of drive, but fins feel too keel like, really stiffens the board up and draws your turns out into a long carving style surfing, which would be great in waist to overhead wally down the line point break surf, but doesn't suit the more up and down in the pocket skating kind of surfing im after with the board and know the board is capable off as had the odd magic surf where it all has clicked.

    Will keep the rear indo fins in and use a few different front fins..and see how it goes.

    BTW. my decks sunk a fair bit from my duck diving knee,(more than both my FW FST ive had a year) and i dinged the rail on the nose a shatter...j

    I really wish you FW guys would bring these new boards out in FST straight away, FST is bullet proof, both my FST boards are holding up amazing, but my first rapid fire and durability wise it seems very similar to a poly board.

    Personally i don't see the point of having a second rate tech option available when you have one of the best techs around in FST, I think it only just brings down the FW brand and confuses guys that don't know much about FW,s, for example my mates will now see my BP and how its durability is not much better than a poly and think/say firewires aren't that durable..blah blah blah..and i will have to explain the whole differences in techs.
    Me= 5,8 75kg Boards= Flex fire FST 6,3 x 18,3/4 x 2,3/8 Hellfire FST 5,10 X 19,3/4 X 2,3/8 Baked potato(white rapid fire) 5,3 x 21,1/4 x 2 3/8

    Agree with the comments on RF whole heartedly. I have never had a good experience with that tech.
