Both my MD and PN are meant to be Nanotuned and they don't repel water anything like that. In fact they dont appear to repel water any different to any other board I have. Does Nano tune come off if you clean your board with turps?

That said, the stuff on the boards isn't as crazy as the never wet stuff.
I think you are confusing the term nanotechnology with the product Nano-Tune. Nanotechnology just refers to the use of very small particles, for example in carbon composites carbon nano particles are infused into the resin mix that impregnates the carbon sheets (woven or unidirectional) and it provides a much stronger composite. Use of small particles to create these hydrophobic coatings is another example.
This product Utra-Ever Dry looks awesome. I wonder how long it lasts. Nano-Tune only lasts around 3 months and never seems to be anywhere near as water repelling.
