I knew it was going to be interesting from the moment of FWs first reply. So glad no one let me down. And as I have decided to brush up on my air game and take the 2 day trek from Sydney down to onshore SharkPoint more often- once I save up for petrol at the current $1:89 a litre- I will be sure to offer FW the Big-K compliment and see if I can assist in fixing his roofing issues to pay for the round trip.
Got to say, I was pretty impressed with the standard in the water down there too. Clearly FW wasn't in the water getting barrelled at the time cause he sold his barrel board.

it held at 6'. granted im not surfing Pipe at 6', but i've done lots of Makaha and Laniakeas which both have similar fat drops into steep walls. once pass the drop, the board surfs like any other hpsb. 2'-4' is where its perfect. i've surfed fast shore break and fast shallow reef w it and loved it.

The original video seems to have been removed so here's a repost of it.
