    The Fish Family Info

    Quadfish Info
With the success of the Quadraflex Series, we developed the QUADFISH with the same retro inspired outline of the Fishtail but with a quad fins. The result is a high performance hybrid with tighter arcs and the same drive, holding power and speed of the Fishtail.

    Kingfish Info
The KINGFISH is a true retro twin keel design, paying homage to the wide, thick foils of yesterday but with the light weight and flex characteristics of FUTURE SHAPES TECHNOLOGY. Step into the past as you fly down the line on today's cutting edge technology, kinda like déjà vu all over again, but even better!

    Fishtail Info
Taking its cue from some of the most innovative design thinking of the past and combining it with FUTURE SHAPES TECHNOLOGY, the FISHTAIL Series is a true hybrid with one design foot in the past and the other foot firmly planted in the future of surfboard materials. With thinner foils than the Kingfish, the FISHTAIL is 30% old and 70% new. Old is new and speed rules!

Hi, Chris. Kurt here under a different name due to log-in difficulties. My favorite FW fish, and one of my favorite surfboards ever in my 49 years of surfing, is my 5'8" Performance Quadfish. I have also loved my 5'6" Kingfish and 5'6" Retro Quadfish Can't go wrong with any of these models. My first FW was a 5'6" original Fishtail signed by Dan Mann. That was the one that got me hooked.

Thanks, Chris. So what's up with this mysterious Potatonator? Is it an online joke or the real thing? Of course, I will buy one sight unseen.

    No joke, it's really coming
My introduction to Firewire was the HP quadfish 5'10"...such a fun grooveller!!!,good memories on that one!!!!.Loved it so much that I sold mine (which had 1 year of use) to a friend of mine who wanted one but could not afford a new one, to get the exact same board!!!!!. Then ended up selling it to get the Dominator, then the quadraflex and the flexflight, then the spitfire, then the potatoe, then the hellfire and the count continues jejejeje
    165cms 89Kgs dry...working on that at the moment...but not working!!! :)

Chris, I live in Laguna Niguel and teach in San Clemente right next to State Park and a stone's throw from Rip Curl.
