I think a bigger sub would paddle well. I'm riding mine the same size as my Spitfire and it paddles a little slower and needs a bit more quality in the wave to get going, but on a decent wave it's a little flyer!
First ride of a Sub schorcher today...very impressed....went much better than it looked.
Nice, I love mine, great little board. I wish I could order a custom at 5'10 x 19" x 2.31" :(

Hey guys
I have had my Sub Scorcher 6'0" for about 6 months now and absolutely loving the board. However, sometimes I tend to get stuck midway through turns. Not sure if that has to do with the board itself or if it is due to the fins. I am using the FCS Nexus H-3 fins and I read somewhere that these fins have a tendency to make the board bog sometimes. I have tries it with the AM2 fins, but didn't like it.
It is not a huge issue, but keen to know if anyone else has had similar experiences with the board or the fins?
Cheers
I like the wct upright but for my weight it doesn't work medium size surf like slight overhead, can u recommend an upright future fun that's alittle bigger than wct?
5'10, 195 lbs, 6'4 Sub S.(futures), 6'8 Alternator (futures), 6'11 Arakawa RP for NS
6'6 HellFire sold, 6'8 Rusty predator squash (sold), 6'9 CI black beauty round pin (broke NS)
A thief is only there to steal, kill, destroy. I came so they can have a real and eternal life, more and better than they ever dreamed of.
I am pretty much the same weight and enjoy the HS large. I think they have under 33 degrees. Most of the larger futures are 35-36. The Roberts also look like the are fairly upright. Both have the V2 foil.
