    Your Local Spots

Thought it might be fun to have a thread where you can post your local spot's webcam. Maybe give everyone a heads up when the waves are good so others can see what a decent day is for your spot.
Here's a local cam for my main beach.

Small today, but nice and clean. Would be fun on the Potato!

http://www.balihai.com/Blog/kauai-hd-webcam/ This cam is actually run by a local real estate company. It should be turned a little more to the right to see the best part of the reef.

Sadly it's not loading up for me, maybe a mac problem?
Here's a back up spot at home, when the swell is big and the winds a bit cross shore at the main beaches we tend to head here. To the right of the beach as you look out there's a rocky reef next to the harbour wall that offers a short, slabby peak at high tide.

The boogey boarders love it... On a stand up it's bloody hard to put yourself in the spot and get into it. There's only a few guys who really try and even fewer that can pull it off. It's not the most predictable wave, and it jacks up and throws over so quick you often end up air dropping into it, so if you put yourself deep you can easily end up way too deep or freefalling to the flats and getting the lip straight on your head. It'd be a real fun wave to do some little whip-ins with a ski and set up for the barrel.
I'm sure if you put a bunch of pro's on it they'd go nuts paddling, but as I said I've only see a couple of locals guys really get in behind the peak and make it with any consistency.
To be honest that pic doesn't tell the whole story. Here's a better one
