the foil of the board is similar, the most dramatic change is the tail. definitely geared towards performance in better surf.

Yes please, and more reviews. Seabass is carrying the team at the moment. Surly there are some FW team that have ridden it and can compare with Dom, Spit, etc.

    Cheers

    Hey Chris,

Can you tell Nev to stop designing new boards? I'm never going to get my house paid off.

    Hi Chris,

Comparing the JackKnife to the HellFire, in the 6'4"s, both are the same thickness, the JK is 1/4" wider but it comes in at a lower volume. I imagine the swallow and flyer would account for some of this but is there any significant difference in other factors such as foil?

    Cheers,

    Hey Captain and company,

for one, I will get you a few more posts. This is kind of the beta release. We got our first approval batch in and have put them around SoCal. This means we get a small number, inspect them all and if they come out exactly right, then they go to stores and then more follow.

in comparison to the Hellfire, it actually has a more progressive profile and less volume as you move towards the rails and also as you progress towards the nose/tail. The hellfire maintains more thickness as you progress from the centerline to the rail and it also has a thicker nose and tail. its funny, but remember the whole L x W x T only give a rough idea, foam can be hidden in a lot of places just as it can be removed from these same spots...

Cheers and lots more to come here!!

Also we'll be making a big push here in the next 2 weeks to get all the new stuff on the board compare platform...

    Chris,

You mentioned that the Jacknife is more geared towards better waves.

Do you have any indication of approximate wave range, height and types?

Is it a similar board to Activator or even the Hellrazor?

    Thanks
