Well to me, if you're surfing the Dom in well overhead conditions and getting it to work, the Sub is going to makes your life much easier. It has the fun and forgiveness of the Dom but in a more high performance package. I feel much more confident on my Sub in bigger and steeper conditions than I do on a Spitfire.
For me it doesn't work in small, slack stuff because I'm riding it low volume, but for anything with some punch and good shape it's such an enjoyable board to surf.
A touch more rocker than the Dom which helps a lot too.
I think the 6'2" would still grovel for you, hopefully it's not too chunky for you in bigger stuff.
