With Futures the FAMT robbers as a twin/trailer are feeling really good.
Only had a few waves on them but could be better than the EA blackstix thrusters.
Quad EA fronts and Rusty Vector II's (side fins modifyed to fit rear boxes) felt good when it was 4'.
Does anyone know the nose and tail dimensions for the 6 4 Potatonator?
Hi Chris, looking for a replacement for my 5'10 Dom - was thinking of this board in a 5'10, I know its not designed for large surf but do you reacon it could handle up to head high and half step powerful waves? I had the dom in double overhead and it still did the business. I want to stay short 5'10 max but maybe increase the buoyancy to allow for my fatness. I loved how loose the dom was and the SP also is very loose - draw back for me on the SP is paddling such a short board does become hard work. Oh decisions decisions.

That wave of chuy on the potatonator would be something similar to our everday wave.

yeah surferIRE, if you are getting a board to go in-between your Dom and potato, the potatonator is a no-brainer. Its fast, loose, and has far more control at higher speeds and in bigger surf than the standard potato. That being said, I don't find it to be a magic slipper for paddling. It gets little waves well and is my small wave groveler, but if you buy it small, its not going to be a paddle machine.
Are you making other changes to your quiver? That might have an impact on how big/small you go.
Hope this helps.

If you want upper size range dominator the the activator would be a good call. 511?
Dom is in 2 pieces so thats gone, I was thinking of selling the SP and getting the potatonator in a 5'10 which has more volume than SP and maybe a stepup of some sort for up to double head high - my problem with the SP is I dont surf small stuff too often so Im loking for something similar with a broader range of wave size
