Ok I'm jealous, apart from the snow thing. But snow at home sucks, a snowboarding holiday on the other hand, might actually beat a surf holiday.
Ps, you need to experience the pure joy or 5/4mm full suit, hood, gloves and boots and then getting changed after.
i have some idea of what you speak...i've surfed thurso...many moons ago...wetsuits weren't very advanced back then...even a 3/2 had no flex and i'm sure they were MORE than three mm thick!!...no snow on the rocks then luckily...but the "locals" (there was one or two) were scaring me by saying i had to pull in because sheet ice in the lip would decapitate me...didn't believe them, but i pulled in just the same..!!

Well try having to have hot water in the trunk of your car to able to unfreeze the ice on the zipper of your wetsuit so you can get out of it!!!!. In a coupler of weeks we'll be trasitioning to the 6/5/4 with 7mm gloves and booties. You got to love winter!!!!!!

Pretty helpfull erling. Subtle difference.
Been riding my spit on quad for the past month or so and really digging it.
