Yayy my 5'10 just arrived. First impressions it feels really nice. Cant wait to give it a go, but as usual when I buy a new board the waves pack up for a week or 2 just to torment me Bah! Will have to be content with just looking at it for a while hehe.

Went out last weekend and traded my 6'0 rf pnator for a 5'10 in fst. Only able to take it on in dumpy On shore junk the next day. Nothing great to ride. Today conditions were still dumpy due to a bad swell angle and messed up sand bars from hurricane sandy but I did manage a nice left and right. No problems transitioning from the bigger board. Feels just right under my arms and in the water. I bought it without checking the fin system so I can't use my Rasta futures. So bumbed. Using my stretch s4s. Have a mayhem GmbB set too I'll try. So far on my two good rides it felt solid. Def don't want to go too big on the board for anyone interested in buying.

Would be interested to hear how the Mayhems go Bumper, as Im considering a set if the controllers dont work out. They look sick.

Yes they do overlap a lot. I actually believe that you are pretty much covered with the pnator and the MB.
Take a look at the mini driver or go out of the box and consider the vanguard!!!!!

Vanguard is on HPSB category where MB cover me(maybe different feeling between them).MD is an option and JK and CC......etc....firewire dilemmas .

jajaja I hear ya!!! too many boards to choose from. I do think that you're pretty much covered. I'd take the "experimental approach" just to spice things up. I'll let you know guys how does it go with the Vanguard once I get my hands on it!!. Have a 5'6" in the oven. Is 28.8lts gonna float my 86Kgs???... well there is my incentive to loose some of that extra package!.
Otherwise I see the mini driver like a solid option over the others

Going to spend the winter fooling around with my set up. I might pull the trigger on the Simon Anderson Large Quad set. It seems a few riders have liked those too. Wave count will start to go down as ski season kicks in but i'll post my thoughts on the mayhems.

Took the 5'10 out in waist high clean peelers and it went well. Four year old set of mayhems gmb went well. Fast and seemed loose. Got the board up on rail quickly. Sweet potato waves but the 5'10 pn was great. Was nervous dropping from 40l and a 6'0 pn. Decoded on the Simon Anderson large eventually though The mayhems are a bit beat up and chipped. Fcs website shows Simons might be a touch Looser with the same drive and hold. No doubt the pn and hf make a great two board quiver.
