I think it's just the pin line dropping down the step deck. Definitely gives that impression though!

Slowman....FYI - I found out today that Cronulla Surf Design will have a 5'10" demo Potatonator in a couple of weeks.

Yes I saw your pictures on the "assassinator" thread and could see it a bit better. Yes it looks like the pin striping creates that impression.
    Jesus is coming, look busy!
Moving forward or just spinning faster?

Here's a couple more shots to try to illustrate it better...

FYI the 6'2" with 44 litres floats me at inbetween belly button and lowest rib with board level in the water underneath me.
My step up 6'4" Diverse dynocore with 42 litres floats me just above lowest ribs.

It straights out slightly either side of the diamond rather than having fangs right Pete?
Man there's too many boards I want at the moment.

I'd call it a rounded/diamond??? But space tail works too. The curved pinline on the deck really is deceptive in so far as it creates an optical illusion.

I'm having fun posting all these pics because we don't see enough pics on the forum.
Especially when all there is to go by on the Firewire website is 2 dimensional stuff.
