    Hi guys! anyone out there know if you can use pens on the bamboo deck?

    like sharpie? yeah you can. Just plan on clear coating it. Also a light sand may help the ink bond. Keep in mind the bamboo still has glass and epoxy resin glassed over it.

    I use to paint my boards with sharpies. The lighter the colour the quicker it will fade
    165cms 89Kgs dry...working on that at the moment...but not working!!! :)

    Whats the best? Matt acylic or gloss arylic?

    I personally like matte because it bonds a bit better with the clear coat that you'll spray over it...

    Yeah, matte is more forgiving finish wise also.
