I think the whole lost, Mayhem, firewire, Nev, Taj relationship can only lead to good things for us Firewire fans. Collaborations can make all parties involved learn a lot and progress to new levels of mastery. I see it all the time in the music industry.

Speaking of Taj he was surfing Ours last night, along with Slater, they surfed Inside. Taj showed up again this morning. I heard it was epic last night, some early morning wobble now but later as the tide drops a bit I expect it will go off. He was carrying a Lost board this morning (actually might have been his mate's) but said he was still using his firewires. To quote "going to do a bit of both." Essentially confirming all the above and I think showing that he's still intent on keeping the relationship. Which I think, without knowing anything about that relationship, demonstrates the faith he still has in Firewire.

There is a shot of him on a Firewire I think at Ours. Either way, its all good! We had a great run with Taj and he certainly was integral to the development of Firewire as a company. We would be amped if her rode our boards again.

    Cheers

Pretty sure it's the new logo placement. Even if he doesn't compete on FWs again, they are less likely to break in those waves. Would be crazy to run a new contest ready PU quiver in board breaking waves. You saw what happened to slater's board. Which, I should add, was clearly EPS based on the way the core looked.

    Good stuff there.

Hi five. Once again I think you guys are taking everything the wrong way. Even if Taj won every event from here on out still doesnt mean Firewires are garbage. P/U boards might just suit his style better. Speaking of P/U chris, have you guys ever thought of offering firewire shapes in P/U. I would love to have a sweet potato in P/U.

hey soggy. no. we have not thought of offering Firewire shapes in PU. Firewire is a proponent of shape and tech. the whole reason Firewire exists is because of our departure form traditional tech....

    Cheers!
