    addvance suitable for beginner?

    Hi there,

i was just beginning to learn to surf this couple of months and riding a 7"6 mini mal for learning.i have no problems standing up and turning on a 8" foamie however i feel the mini mal is less bouyant and i do manage to stand and turn at times. Was reading about the addvance and heard many good reviews about it.I am impressed on the volume of the 7"6 and was interested in getting one for better wave count.i am 5"7 and weight about 180lbs.i am staying in australia and do visit bali a couple of times a year.I intend to keep learning and progress.Any input would be appreciated as i am still a noob.Cheers.

would be a great board for a beginner, and as you improve and want to downsize, it'd still be a keeper to you on tiny and crowded days.
