    Quadfish HP or Retro?

    Hi,

I'm looking at purchasing a Quadfish at my local shop. The dimensions are 5'10" x 21" x 2 7/8" 42.1L. Is this board considered the Quadfish Retro because of the extra volume? I see a lot of mention of the Quadfish HP vs. the Retro on the furum, but I don't see that verbage on the Quadfish page except for the foils comparison and buyers chart. I appreciate your feed back. I'm just trying to get the dims right for my size, 5'11" 190lbs. Thanks!

Yeah the thicker version has a retro foil, or more foam distributed across the length of the board. The HP version is more refined, with thinner rails and elevated performance and sensitivity. It is, however, more difficult to paddle and doesn't work quite as well in the tiny stuff. choose based on your preferences and needs!!!

    Cheers!

Hey All, use my Firewire email, [email protected] for emergency issues, not my forum inbox. However, please avoid contacting me directly with questions on choosing a board, just use the glorious forum. Cheers!
