I have (had) a 6'6" rapidfire dominator purchased november 2011 purchased strictly for surfing small perth waves when i can't get down south. Used less than a dozen times. Snapped in 2' surf at triggs duck diving a wave. That is all I have to say.

Hey All, use my Firewire email, [email protected] for emergency issues, not my forum inbox. However, please avoid contacting me directly with questions on choosing a board, just use the glorious forum. Cheers!
Well made a few inquiries, had a bit of feedback and was basically told bad luck. Seems its quite acceptable for firewire technology to fail in 2 ft dribble. Sorry to say firweire have now lost a disciple. Sticking with PU from now but must say I have a ultraflex flowmaster by Randy French that took an absolute pounding in some heavy south sumatra surf. Don't think I would waste valuable luggage kg's taking either of my two firewires there.
