    was fun and was able to catch everything.. the sets were def. shortboardable though

    That looks bloody frigid!
    I'd want no part of that.
    I kid you not one of the locals was saying to me "It's looks a bit cold out there" as I'd worn a 1mm top to stop the stiff Southerly that was blowing but the water is still 24C.
    Thank the powers that be I'm able to surf in boardshorts most of the year.

    Still enjoying my hooded 5/4 here. Actually regressed back to boots yesterday because air was down to 6C. I thought it was supposed to be warming up by now? Water still only 11C at best.

    i was dying in my 5/4 that day..too hot with no wind... with the rubber however is why i volume up a bit and the fact that are waves are in the 8sec period range

    5/4 - you madman!!! still in my 6/5/4 hooded!!! my new ripsurl ebomb pro 4/3 has been sat here for a month now, i cant wait to get it on!

    Got my 4/3 out today for the first time. Outiside temp 8C water temp probably13C or so. Feels good to shave a few extra weight!

    Ah man. I can't believe you're ahead of me. It'll still really cold here. This time last year I was putting a 4/3 on with no boots or gloves or hood but yesterday I surfed in a 5/4mm with 5mm boots and a hood. Wasn't getting too warm either.
