    5'6'' or 5'8''

Hey, I'm 5'10'' and 155lbs, due to a recent move I live on the west side of FL, stuck surfing small and weak beach breaks. I've got a 6'1 Taj that i have had for a long time and I loved using on the east coast, but need a board that will allow me to have some fun in the water out here. I know the 5'8'' will definitely float me, but I want to have as much performance as I can. Would the 5'6'' still get me goin down the line on some knee-waist high waves? I feel like the smaller board would allow me to throw some more maneuvers in the water. Any input would be great. Thanks.

Also, just for enjoyment of anyone interested in getting a dominator, I found this video of Jesse Heilman ripping on a 5'4'' Dominator: http://vimeo.com/13477883

I wish the gulf of mexico had more power heh...

Definetly 5`6``. I am 5`7`` and 145 and my 5`6`` dominator has a little bit more volume than what i wanted. It fits great in small waves but i do need a bigger fin setup in powerfull waves because of the overall volume of the board. Although, this is the best board i ever had.
