My mush Dom us 33.5 could have gone to the 508 though and my alt is 30.3 , that's why I was thinking the stealth would fit perfect in there 600 for upper end mush, and possibly a 6'0 sub for low end mush? And use my Dom for all sorts of mush?? What do you think?

I use the Sub for good quality smaller waves or not so good decent sized waves. I think the stealth is geared towards fairly decent waves. It's more refined and has more rocker I think.
I reckon the 510 Sub would pick up from where the Dom starts feeling a little bulky and handle everything up to when you pull out the Alternator.
If you want to keep the volume up the 600 will still be fun but I personally think the Sub goes well at slightly lower volumes.

Nice! You'll love it I'm sure. Really fun little board. What fins do you have in mind?

Maybe too many litres for you? I surfed mine in well overhead surf and never had it slide once. I put more raked fins in though and ride it right at the bottom of my volume range.

PRJ - coming in at the end of this thread...how do you think the Sub would go as a 1 board deal.

I don't really want to be taking two boards to the beach each time but i imagine the 5'8 sub being a little thinner/little longer has more versatility than a 5'6 spitfire. Looking at surfing waist to headhigh (just over) both soft and punchy waves, also suitable in winter with a bit more clobber on.

I'm 155lb but think the 5'8 will be ample float for the smaller waves in the summer and ditto for winter when they have a bit more guts.

Does the sub have more nose rocker than the spit, i've found that a pain sometimes too?

    Cheers.

5'6 Firewire Spitfire RF - Fins K2.1/GX Quad or K2.1 Thruster (One board works well enough for me!)
