got the 6'0...figured if its going to be a bigger wave board I want a bit more length but concede the width is not ideal...hoping the tail , being a little more refined will be the saviour...time will tell...Went to Avoca today..some clown tried walking around the point and ended up clinging to the rock wall in his THONGS and boardies..wet up to his armpits...couple of the clubbies were running to call the cops and rescue copter when he reemerged from the point and did the walk of shame past about 50 people who boooed him as he walked by...funny....kind of.
Can't wait for the stormy mess to clean up so we can get out there & really give the Hellfire its head!

Surfed my brand new hellfire last weekend, epic board! Best board ever, some of the waves had flat sections and some of the waves were pretty steep. The board handled both very well and just felt like it wants to go, so fast!!! Also felt solid on rail.

Just got back from Panaitan Island and the Hellfire was the board I rode the most. It had the speed to really get down the line quickly and make the waves...although you really have to pick them, some of them are too fast. At Napalms I opted to ride my 6'8' just to get on the wave ASAP...it is a hard barrel to negotiate on your backhand at 4-5', pick the wrong one and there is an end section that backdoors and then races away and then you are on the reef. Forehand I think it would have been different as you can pump better while in the barrel because you don't have to crouch down/pig dog to fit in it. Had no issues at Illusions or the bombies (rights).
The hellfire handles barrels fine but some barrels the backhand stance is a limiting factor.
