if a small wave closes out, it is going to be shallow..then you said you...and i quote..."pull through the back with the board at my feet. It get pulled away as i get through the back of the wave"....pity your camera didnt film your board as it got pushed between your feet and/or wave and the bottom....now in the position of a lever... we probably would of seen why it snapped.....boards break or get internal stesso's from that quite often in small stuff as you are in shallower water...a similar scenario is bailing a duckdive when you are "nose down and tail up" and using the board as a lever to kick through the wave, leaving your board to fend for itself......now i'm not saying it was definitely this that caused this or the other breaks... but it is also strange you happened on the only three defective boards in a row...(there is no widespread problem with firewires boards)...
at the end of the day, 3 in a row and you put your boards (at least in this case) in a situation known to be risky....this would make me look at usage closely...

Thanks Iggy, Ill get in touch with Chris.
I have contacted Chris and waited a week and received no reply. I am very disappointed with this result. I thought for the price you pay for these boards there would at least by some semblance of customer service.
Might have something to do with how you went about it Sammy. Like I said, not the way I would do it and I only have the highest regard for FW customer service.
Hey Sammy and others reading this, I have not gotten a single email directly about this.
Please reach out to me directly at [email protected] and we can go from there.
Thanks.
Hi Chris,
I sent you an Email to that adress last week on the 29th. I can re-send it if you want me to. Maybe it has gone to your junk folder? It was entitled 'bad experience with firewires'. Let me know if you need me to send it again.
Sam
