Folded my almost brand new razor 6'1 rapid fire couple weeks ago, only about the 6th surf on it. Major bummer, happened on trying to recover from nosedive down double-overhead quite powerful wave. Bottom glass broke but bamboo deck held.
Contacted Damien Hardman Rip Curl Narrabeen where I bought it, took it in to have a look etc. I want to compliment Damien and FW Aus on the excellent customer service I got regarding this. Although FW don't believe it was manufacturing fault (and I agree, no lamination problem just plain broke under big load) they sold me a replacement at a very good price (fst this time). Damien service was excellent friendly and gave me a good deal on another new board (hellfire).
I highly recommend Damien Hardman Ripcurl Narrabeen to anyone looking for a new FW. Its an awesome shop and they have a great stock range of different models and very helpful staff.
FireWire Aus you have retained a good customer and kept me as a devout FireWire fan.
