    Hey Guys,
A special thanks to the folks at The Surfer's Path. They sent over this article that details an interview between the author, Alex Dick-Read and Firewire CEO Mark Price. Get some in depth answers to the questions that everyone seems to be asking from the man himself.

The guys at The Surfer's Path put together an absolutely awesome mag so get on it and pick one up the next time you see one in a newsstand. There is also a ridiculous amount of content on their site: http://surferspath.mpora.com/

Yep, very good article. I just saw this posted over on the BB. Good to see in a classy mag like Surfer's Path.

I like the "touch-coat" they use on their covers. I'm a graphic design geek. :)

"touch-coat".... I wouldn't have known there was a specific name for that, but I too like both that mag and it's feel... sets it apart. Solid on the surf, travel, lifestyle, and green content. Classy, informative, and a nice touch-coat...lol.

Haha. Some print companies call it touch-coat, others call it soft-touch, essentially the same thing. But, like anything, performing it properly is not easy. I had a company screw up a catalog I designed because they didn't know how to do touch-coat properly over black ink!

    Back to the topic... :)
