    On which Firewire surfboard is the Quad 6'0 designed, the Futura or Quadraflex?
    and which changes have been done a part form the inserts 4 straps?

    Hi Anti-Hero
    The board comes from Quadraflex family.
    It has inserts but has a tougher construction in the areas that are needed for the pounding the board gets while being taken thru its pace's kiting.
    The weight on the boards still come out within the surfboard regulations allowing you to surf and kite on the same board with a amazing feel.

    Basically a reinforced quadraflex.Reinforced top and bottom deck as werll as the finboxes...this is a quaddy which has gone to the gym!!!!!.Needs to wthstand all the pressure applied for kite
