    Hi.
There have been some talk about new boards in the lineup.
I am looking for the 5`6 dominater. Will this be one of the new boards in the lineup?
If not, which will then be in the lineup and when will the boards be released in the Eorupean stores?

    Thanks a lot:-)

According to Felix on Kiteforum, the next addition in the lineup will be a 5'6 Hellfire (this summer).
    Sounds good !

It would be nice to see a few different size options on the Hellfire, i fear that 5'6 will be to small to paddle & the 5'8 Dominator too big for me @ 70kg. This summer...does this mean 2012, our summer has just finished in Oz.

    Hi Guys,

It's not really feasible for FireWire to offer every size and model in a kite specific version. The FireWire crew collectively reviews the board lineup and attempts to bring new models to the market to address various rider preferences. The addition of the Hellfire 5'6" (due out in the coming months) provides a well rounded high performance quiver of boards to choose from ranging from 5'6" to 6'2" and various wind conditions.

Mick/Boris, curious, have you tried to paddle the 5'11" Taj? Should have similar volume to the 5'6" Hellfire.

    Thanks for the comments!

Im new to the forum and have not reviewed all the threads but I really like the spitfire and hellfire to surf on as well. For cross over surfing I was about to get a 5'10 hellfire. Is there any way to custom order this?
Also, are any of the boards going to available in retail stores?
    Thanks

    Jonesey,

Welcome to the forum. There's a bit of additional layup for the kite specific models so we don't have a custom program for them. Not sure if you've tried the Taj 5'11" kite board but it may fit the bill for you. Although a bit less volume than the spitfire/hellfire.

The kite models are available via the website. Where do you live? May be able to setup a demo if you'd like.

    Brian,

Thanks for the reply. I am in central Florida right now. Was looking for a board to surf and kite (with straps) on for frequent trips to puerto rico, costa rica and for local use. The Taj 5'11 may fit the bill, how much does it weigh vs the surf model and how do these boards surf compared to the surf specific fst? Also how do they paddle? Thanks

    Hey Jonesey,

Dang, I was just there about a month ago and could have demo'd... With the extra materials there's a slight weight difference compared to the surf models. Paddling is similar and they still surf amazing. No 5th fin planned on the KQF. REAL has recently picked up the line of kiteboards in addition to a number of the surf models at the Hatteras location if your up that way.

My home shop has just received a new batch of FireWire (5'8, 5'11, 6'0)
All models are lighter than previous batch, but still slightly heavier than the surf range.
There is a new construction (new foam blank?) with no pressure valve
Suprisingly the KQF (6.0) has 5 fin boxes !
    Good stuff guys !

Looking forward to testing the HellFire when available...
