    Hi,

    After using FCS fins for surfing and kiting last years I pretty know what fin to use for what conditions. I just got my new Taj kiteboard and now.... they put Futures on it!!! The plastic fantastic fins are too soft so I tried some fake glass honeycomb fins but the base is too big I think.

    Any suggestions what Future fins you use? I ride the board strapless and weight 65 kg, kiting with medium waves in Holland and France size 6 or 8 mtr.

    Hey there,

    Fins make a huge difference and become a personal preference as to which exact model to get. A lot of folks like the Vector II's in various flavors (EA's R1's, etc). I've been using a larger AM2 Techflex fin lately on my Taj. which work well. One thing you may want to try and do is find a Future's retailer that carries the Fin Tree. They will usually let you take them for a day and demo. Regardless of what you choose be sure to grab one of our FireWire Deviant fins for the tri-fin trailer to have in your arsenal. It's amazing, provides a looser feel off the top and will allow you to up wind like nobody's business! http://www.firewiresurfboards.com/quiver_deviant.php
