    Am balacing between both and would like to understand if the 5.8 really start earlier than 6.0 or not. Thanks in advance. Fred

    What type of conditions are you usually riding? The 5'8" has low entry rocker and starts planing super early. I've found it to be a bit more buoyant than the 6'0" but rider weight plays into this.

    Thanks Brian. Iam actually looking for buying my first surf board which i could use in light wind conditons and when the wind goes up to 20knots. I nderstand the 5.8 is great for very light wind but becomes a bit hairy when the wind gets stronger. I think the 6 is a better choice no?

    Hey Fred,

    Correct, the 6'0" will handle higher winds a bit better than the 5'8". Also, take a look at our Deviant fin. It's great for loosening up the tail on smaller days when your setup as a tri fin.
