    hi,

i am a bit confused on what is included in the price of the dominator? (heel pad, amount of fins, ..) The only thing i can find is that FW has decided to leave out the straps.

Will the DM ship with 5 fins so you can use different fin set up?

Maybe i overlooked it on the site but it seems to be missing. Also in the online store it is not mentioned i beleive.

    Thanks for your response,

    Dennis, NL

    Hey Dennis,

All of the kite boards are supplied with a tri fin set, fin key and mounting hardware for straps. Pads and straps are not included to keep costs down and allow you the ultimate choice for how the board should be setup.

From what I have seen in my area, the boards wich are equiped with 5 fin boxes (DM, KF) are delivered with 4 fins matching the quad setup, and usable in a trifin setup (using one of the back quad fins to be placed in the middle position).
6 screws for straps + Future allen key are also in the package.

I personnaly use the trifin setup most of the time on my 6.0 Quadra5 (equiped with 5 fin boxes).

As a gear geek, I'm currently looking for a pair of Futures filler box... which are missing in the fins package ;-)

    Good description Phil.

Take a look at the bottom of this page. It has the exact fins type per model. http://www.firewiresurfboards.com/kitesurfing/quiver_boards.php?boardid=kitesurfing

Oh, and you'll really geek out by throwing a Deviant tri trailer in any of the boards. Works really well for tighter turns and better upwind performance. See the Deviant thread on the forum.
